Just for the lassies

The best laid plans o’ mice an’ men include our annual women’s Burns Supper… but a wee beastie of a virus has put paid to that.

However, it’s not the end of the world, as we at Gaia have once again organised something quite unique.

Our One-Of-A-Kind Event Box can be delivered direct to your door and you can be sure there will be that extra Gaia twist included.

Join us online with your goodies on January 25th at 7:00pm for an hour of fun and banter.

‘Til we can all safely meet again Slàinte Mhath!

Today’s Scottish Government announcement, and the impact of the Omicron Covid variant, spells a very difficult time for our events and artists and we want to let you know we are working extremely hard to rearrange our annual Gaia Women’s Burns Supper in 2022 in the safest possible way.

Therefore we will once again be hosting the event online.

We’re so excited, and we just can’t hide it!

Join us for a truly unique Gaia Weekender – a murder mystery in the Scottish Highlands.

The story is set in a large country house tucked away in one of the most beautiful locations in Scotland. But things quickly take a turn for the worst. The tale begins when one of the guests doesn’t return from a walk in the mountains, and it is not long before other bizarre events start to occur. A group of strangers, who are guests of the owner, take it upon themselves to solve the mystery. With each hour that passes the plot thickens, and they must decide which one of the mysterious characters at the house could be the killer.

What’s Included:

  • Welcome drink
  • Two nights dinner, bed and breakfast
  • Entertainment
  • Surprise guest

We’re excited to be bringing you our virtual Edinburgh Weekender and our own unique celebration of St Dwynwen’s Day in Cardiff.

The Welsh have their own patron saint of lovers. Forget Valentine’s Day, 25 January is the most romantic day of the year in Wales. They give romantic gifts to loved ones to remember St Dwynwen a love struck lass who became a nun after being forbidden by her father from marrying the person she loved. Ahh.

In typical Gaia style we will tailor a special evening of food, fun and entertainment, sharing the love around.

COVID-19 Update

As with all organisations, the COVID-19 pandemic is having a significant impact on our Gaia Events. Unfortunately, given the current situation and guidelines, we have suspended our  in person programme activity until later this year.
We’ve taken this decision to prioritise the wellbeing of our participants, delivery partners & workforce. We will be reviewing this situation weekly. We shall now focus on maintaining online engagement with our participants and ensuring we can resume activity when circumstances allow.

Take care.

Alanna and Team Gaia x

A quick hello to our valued customers.

As a family owned business, people are at the heart of everything we do, so your safety and health is, and continues to be, our top priority.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the situation within the travel and event industry is changing daily.

All of our events for 2021 are going ahead as planned, with more being added. We deliberately keep the group size of our holidays small and will continue to do so.

Until we can see you all again in person, please take care of yourselves and each other.

Alanna and Team Gaia
